PITA BURGERS

1 lb. ground round
1 (8 oz.) Sahara pita bread
1 tomato, diced
1 c. shredded lettuce
1 green pepper, diced (1/2 c.)
1 onion, diced
3 Tbsp. butter
Parmesan dry cheese

In large frying pan, saute diced green peppers (1/2 cup)
and diced onion in butter. Add ground beef; brown well. In
separate bowl, put diced tomato and shredded lettuce, mix well.
When meat is cooked, sprinkle Parmesan cheese generously and
stir. Add ground beef to lettuce and tomato mixture. Mix.
Warm pitas in microwave 15 seconds. Fill pitas with ground
beef, lettuce and tomato mixture. Serves 6.
