CARAMEL CORN

6 qt. popped corn
2 sticks butter or oleo
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Stir the oleo, brown sugar, corn syrup and salt until it
boils. Boil 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from stove and
stir in soda (it will bubble), then the vanilla. Pour over
popcorn in a large roaster. Put in oven at 250 degrees for 1 hour.
Stir every 15 minutes. Store in tight container.
