MEXICAN CHEESEBURGERS

1 lb. ground beef, chuck or
round
1 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 can tomato soup
salt and pepper to taste
cayenne red pepper (if
desired)
slices sharp Cheddar cheese

Fry green pepper and onion in small amount of oil until
soft. Add ground beef, cook until brown. Add tomato soup and
seasonings. Remove as much fat as possible before adding soup.
Serve on warm hamburger buns with one slice of cheese. Makes 9
sandwiches.
