MICROWAVE BAKED CUSTARD

1 1/3 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
dash of nutmeg

Microwave milk in a 2-cup measure at High 100% until
tiny bubbles appear, 2 to 3 1/2 minutes. Mix eggs, sugar, salt
and vanilla in 1 quart bowl. Blend in milk. Divide into four
6 ounce custard cups. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Place in micro-
wave. Cook at Medium-High (70%) until custard resembles
soft-set gelatin, 4 to 7 minutes. Chill before serving.
