BAKED SCALLOPS
(Serves 4)
1 lb. sea scallops
3/4 Tbsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. butter, melted
plain bread crumbs

Marinate scallops in butter and garlic for 1 hour or
more. Microwave in covered dish, 3 1/2 to 5 minutes, stirring
once during cooking to rearrange the scallops. Let stand 1
minute and test for doneness. Texture should be flaky. Cook a
little longer if needed. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and
cheese.
