MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 3 to 4 qt. popped popcorn 1/2 c. butter or margarine 1 c. packed brown sugar 1/4 c. light corn syrup 1/2 tsp. salt Microwave on High for 3 to 4 minutes in a 2 quart glass bowl; stir every minute until mixture boils. Microwave 2 more minutes on High. Remove. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Combine popcorn and caramel mixture. Microwave 1 1/2 minutes on High. Stir. Microwave 1 1/2 minutes on High. Shake vigorously. Pour into roasting pan. Cool.
