1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. white corn syrup
dash of salt
1 c. wide flaked coconut
3/4 c. pecans, halved or
2 tsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Stir together sugar, syrup and salt. Microwave on High
for 7 minutes. (Stir after 3 minutes.) Stir in coconut and
pecans. Microwave on High for approximately 3 1/2 minutes,
until mixture turns a light brown. Stir in butter and vanilla.
Stir in baking soda. Pour onto a buttered cookie sheet, spread
to desired thinness.
