BROCCOLI QUICHE

1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
and cooled
1 (10 oz.) pkg. broccoli cuts
3 eggs, beaten
1 (3 oz.) can French fried
onion rings
1/3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Pie shell can be cooked in microwave; prick thoroughly,
brush shell with egg and a little Worcestershire sauce. Bake
on High for 5 minutes. Defrost broccoli for 3 1/2 to 4 min-
utes; drain. Cook on Defrost. Mix eggs, milk, salt and
pepper; microwave for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes on High to heat eggs.
Mix broccoli, 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 can onion rings into egg
mixture. Pour into cooled pie shell that was cooked. Micro-
wave 50% power for 8 to 15 minutes; rotate and tilt egg mixture
to edges every four minutes. Sprinkle onion rings and cheese
on top. Cook for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes until cheese melts on
50% power.
