1 c. sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1 c. roasted salted peanuts
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
In 1 1/2 quart casserole, stir in sugar and syrup. I use
a glass bowl because plastic can melt. Microwave on High 4
minutes; add peanuts and microwave on High for 3 to 5 minutes
until light brown. Add butter and vanilla; stir well. Micro-
wave on High for 1 to 2 minutes. Add soda and stir until
foamy. Pour onto greased cookie sheet; cool 30 minutes. When
cool, break into pieces and store in airtight container.
