12 medium Red Delicious or
McIntosh apples
12 wooden sticks
2 (14 oz. each) pkg. caramels
1/4 c. half and half
1/2 c. colored candy sprinkles

Wash and dry apples. Insert sticks in stem end. Place
caramels and half and half in 2-quart casserole. Microwave at
High 4 to 7 minutes, or until melted, stirring every minute.
Dip each apple in hot caramel until coated. Coat bottoms with
candy sprinkles. Cool on wax paper.
