MICROWAVE HINTS Sweetened Condensed Milk: 3/4 c. sugar 1/3 c. water 1/4 c. butter 1 c. dry milk crystals In 2-cup glass measure, add sugar, water and butter. Microwave (High) 1 1/2 to 2 minutes until mixture boils, stirring every 30 seconds. Combine in blender with dry milk. Process until smooth. Refrigerate until needed. Makes 1 cup. (Double recipe to substitute for 14 ounce can.) *BLKLIN Scald Milk: 1 cup, microwave (High) 2 to 2 1/2 minutes. *BLKLIN If nail polish cap is stuck, microwave on High 5 to 10 seconds. *BLKLIN Shell nuts easier by placing 2 cups nuts in 1 cup water. Microwave on High, covered, 1 to 3 minutes.
