MACARONI AND CHEESE

1 1/2 c. uncooked elbow
macaroni
2 c. (10 oz.) diced process
American cheese
salt and pepper to taste
3 c. hot water
2 Tbsp. margarine
1/4 c. milk

Combine macaroni and water in 9-inch microproof baking
dish. Double wrap tightly with plastic wrap and cook on High 9
to 10 minutes or until noodles are cooked but still firm. Pour
off any remaining water. Stir in cheese, margarine, milk, salt
and pepper. Cover and cook on High 6 minutes, stirring once.
Makes 4 servings.
