MEAT LOAF

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
1 c. soft bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. minced onion
1/2 c. finely chopped celery
2 Tbsp. catsup
2 bacon slices

Mix all ingredients except catsup and bacon together
just until blended. Do not overmix. Pack mixture in an 8 1/2
x 4 1/2 x 3-inch ovenware loaf dish. Spread catsup on top.
Top catsup with 2 slices of bacon. Cover with wax paper. Set
selector control to "Bake". Cook for 33 minutes or until done.
Allow meat loaf to stand 10 minutes before serving.
Total cooking time is 33 minutes. Recipe yields 6
servings.
Note: I make this dish without the catsup and bacon.
