PORK CHOPS AND POTATOES

4 pork chops, 1/2 inch thick
4 c. thinly sliced potatoes
2 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
3 Tbsp. margarine or butter
1 c. milk

Trim excess fat from chops. Slash edges at 1 inch
intervals to prevent curling. Place chops in a 3 quart glass
casserole dish. Cover and microwave 6 to 8 minutes. Turn
chops during cooking. Drain. Toss together potatoes, onions,
cheese, flour, salt and pepper. Layer over chops. Dot with
butter and pour milk over top. Cover and microwave on Defrost
(or Low power) for 45 to 60 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes
before serving. Serves 4.
