In large mixing bowl, melt 1/4 cup butter. By hand,
stir in dry cake mix and egg until mixture is moist. Pat into

frosting mix; sprinkle over apples. Microwave, uncovered, for
7 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Serve warm or
