DUTCH APPLE CAKE "MICROWAVE" 1/2 pkg. (1 c.) coconut pecan or coconut almond frosting mix 1/4 c. butter or margarine 1/2 pkg. (2 1/3 c.) lemon cake mix 1 egg 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine 1 1/4 c. (half of 1 lb. 4 oz. can) pie sliced apples, drained In large mixing bowl, melt 1/4 cup butter. By hand, stir in dry cake mix and egg until mixture is moist. Pat into 1 1/2 quart (8-inch) round baking dish. Top with drained apples. In same bowl, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Stir in frosting mix; sprinkle over apples. Microwave, uncovered, for 7 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream or ice cream.
