1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 clove minced garlic
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes,
undrained and chopped
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (1 lb.) can kidney beans,
2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. pepper
dash of cayenne pepper
Place ground beef, onion, green pepper and garlic in 3
quart casserole. Microwave on High for 4 to 5 minutes or until
beef is no longer pink and vegetables are tender. Stir halfway
through cooking time. Drain off excess fat. Stir in remaining
ingredients. Microwave on High for 25 to 30 minutes or until
heated through. Stir after cooking. Serves 4 to 6. Power
High for 30 to 35 minutes.
