CURRIED FRUIT

1 can (17 oz.) apricots
1 can (16 oz.) peaches
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. curry
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. raisins
1/4 c. water
other fruits, fruit cocktail,
pineapple chunks, pears

Drain fruit (your favorite combination); reserve liquid.
In small bowl (2 cup measure works well) combine 1 cup fruit
syrup, curry and cinnamon. Microwave 2 minutes on Full Power.
Blend cornstarch with water and add to spiced syrup. Microwave
Full Power 2 minutes (until thickened) stirring occasionally.
Put fruit in shallow baking dish (including raisins). Micro-
wave 3 1/2 to 4 minutes on Full Power until heated. Pour on
sauce and cook another 1 minute on Full Power. Serve warm or
chilled.
