MICRO BAKED APPLES 2 large apples 1 tsp. lemon juice or fruit preserver 2 tsp. butter or margarine 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. ground cloves 2 tsp. chopped pecans or walnuts 2 tsp. golden raisins (optional) Core apples and slit skin around the middle. Sprinkle each apple top with lemon juice or fruit preserves and place in a custard cup. Melt butter 15 to 20 seconds. Stir remaining ingredients into butter. Fill each apple with mixture. Lightly cover apple with plastic wrap. Space dishes 3 to 4 inches apart. Cook on High 5 minutes, or until tender.
