1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
1 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
2 toes garlic
1 Tbsp. flour
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce or
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/2 c. ketchup
4 Tbsp. chili powder
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1 tsp. salt
In a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish, crumble ground chuck.
Microwave on High for 7 minutes until brown. Drain fat. Add
onions, bell pepper and garlic. Sprinkle mixture with flour.
Stir well. Cook on High for 3 minutes. Add tomato sauce,
ketchup, chili powder, sugar, water and salt and pepper. Cook
on Medium-High for 15 minutes. (This chili recipe is perfect
for hot dogs or tacos.)
