SANDY'S SENSATIONAL SPAGHETTI

1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
1/2 c. chopped celery
2 toes garlic
1 jalapeno pepper
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (14 oz.) can mushrooms
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1/2 c. ketchup
1 c. water
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. olive oil
pinch of oregano
salt and pepper to taste
flour
1 Tbsp. sugar

Place ground beef in simmer pot in microwave. Cook 7 to
10 minutes or until brown. Drain fat. Add onions, pepper,
celery and garlic. Cook on High for 3 to 4 minutes. Sprinkle
with 1 tablespoon flour. Stir. Cook on High 1 to 2 minutes.
Add tomato sauce, paste, whole tomatoes, ketchup, sugar and
water. Stir in olive oil. Add bay leaf and seasonings.
Cover. Cook on High 5 minutes. Continue cooking on 60%. Bake
for 20 to 25 minutes.
