BARBECUED SPARERIBS

3 lb. pork spareribs
2 tsp. chili powder
2 c. barbecue sauce
2 Tbsp. lemon juice (optional)

Place ribs in large shallow baking dish. Heat on
Simmer, uncovered, for 14 minutes. Turn ribs over and heat on
Simmer for 14 minutes. Drain off excess fat. Combine chili
powder and barbecue sauce. Pour 1/2 over ribs. Heat, uncov-
ered, on Simmer for 8 minutes. Turn ribs over. Sprinkle with
lemon juice. Pour on remaining sauce and heat, uncovered, for
16 minutes. Pork should always be cooked until well done.
