RUMAKI (Appetizer) 12 slices bacon 8 oz. slices water chestnuts, drained 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 c. soy sauce Mix garlic powder in soy sauce. Put water chestnuts in soy sauce mixture and marinate for 15 to 30 minutes in refrig- erator. Then cut bacon slices into thirds. Wrap 1 slice of water chestnut in third piece of bacon. Roll, secure and fasten with wooden toothpick. Place 12 at a time in a circle on a paper plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess grease. Cover with a paper towel. Cook on High for 4 minutes. Turn over, cover and cook on High for 3 more minutes or until bacon is cooked. Allow to stand 1 minute before serving. Yields 36 appetizers.
