MICROWAVE BASIC MEAT LOAF

1 1/2 lb. ground chuck beef
3/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 egg
2 Tbsp. ketchup
1 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. paprika

Mix together beef, onion, crumbs, egg, ketchup, milk and
seasonings. Mold into rounded flat loaf in 9-inch pie plate.
Insert temperature probe and cover with plastic wrap. Micro-
wave at High. Set temperature to 170 degrees.
When done, remove meat loaf and let stand about 10
minutes to firm. Spread additional ketchup evenly on top of
loaf.
