SCALLOPED POTATOES

4 c. hot water
1 tsp. salt
4 medium potatoes, sliced thin
1 onion, sliced thin
1/4 c. margarine
2 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

In 3 quart casserole, heat water and salt to boiling by
microwave. Add potatoes and onion. Cover and cook for 5
minutes, stirring once; drain. Melt margarine in 4 cup glass
measure. Stir in flour, then milk, seasoned salt and pepper.
Cook 3 minutes or until mixture thickens, stirring every 30
seconds. Place cooked, drained potatoes and onions in 3 quart
casserole. Pour sauce over; mix well. Cover and cook 6
minutes.
