MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN|
15 c. popped corn
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Spray interior of large grocery bag with nonstick
cooking spray. (Use a bag that has little or no printing.)
Pour popcorn into bag. Combine sugar, butter, syrup and salt.
Microwave on High until mixture boils, stirring occasionally.
Boil 2 minutes, then add baking soda and stir well until foamy.
Pour mixture over popcorn in bag and shake well. Microwave on
High 1 1/2 minutes. Shake bag well and microwave on High 1
minute. Shake again and microwave on High for 1/2 minute.
Pour popcorn on waxed paper to cool.
