MEAT LOAF

1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 medium onion, minced
1/4 c. cracker crumbs
2 lb. ground beef

Combine tomato sauce, brown sugar, vinegar and mustard
in a small bowl. Mix well. Set aside.
Combine egg, onion, cracker crumbs, salt, pepper and
ground beef in a large bowl. Add 1/2 cup tomato sauce mixture
and blend well. Shape into an oval loaf in an oblong baking
dish. Make a depression in top of loaf. Pour remainder of
sauce into depression. Cook uncovered on Roast (70% power) for
25 minutes. About 1/2 way through, pour off fat. Cover meat
and let stand 10 minutes.
