MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN

1 c. brown sugar
1 stick margarine
1/4 c. white syrup
pinch of salt

Combine in 2 quart glass bowl and cook in microwave 2
minutes after it comes to a boil. Remove from oven and add 1/2
teaspoon soda, stirring well. Pour over 4 quarts of popped
corn which has been put in a large heavy paper sack. Fold down
top. Place in microwave and cook for 1 1/2 minutes on High.
Remove, stir and shake; cook for another 1 1/2 minutes. Pour
out on large cookie sheet.
