MICROWAVE PEANUT CRUNCH 1 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. butter 1/4 c. water 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 c. peanuts 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces Lightly butter a cookie sheet. In medium glass bowl, combine sugar, salt, butter and water. Cook on High power 8 to 10 minutes or until mixture turns a light brown. Remove from microwave; stir in vanilla and 1/2 cup peanuts. Pour onto cookie sheet. Sprinkle chocolate pieces over top; let melt and spread over mixture. Sprinkle with remaining chopped peanuts. When cool, break into small pieces.
