CHERRY DATE BALLS|
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. flour
1 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked
coconut (1 1/2 c.)
1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
candied cherries, cut in half
In a 2 quart batter bowl, beat eggs. Add sugar, corn
syrup and flour; beat until smooth. Stir in dates, coconut and
walnuts. Stirring midway through cooking, microwave on High 6
to 7 minutes or until thickened. Cool. Shape into 1-inch
balls. Roll balls in powdered sugar. Press cherry half into
center of each. Store in tightly covered container. Makes 4
