BAKED CUSTARD

1 3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Place milk in 2 cup glass measure. Heat in microwave
oven on Medium-High for 4 minutes or until hot. Stir sugar and
salt into eggs. Blend well. Gradually stir in hot milk and
vanilla, stirring constantly. Pour mixture into four (6 ounce)
cups or dessert dishes. Arrange cups in circle in microwave
oven. Bake in microwave on Medium for 9 1/2 to 10 1/2 minutes
or until custards are set but still quivery. Rearrange dishes
once during baking time. Cool at room temperature. Chill if
desired.
