SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS
(4 To 6 Servings)
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. milk
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 egg

Mix ingredients. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on
bacon rack or roasting rack. Cook, covered, for 6 minutes on
Full Power or until done. Drain fat.

Sweet and Sour Sauce:
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 (15 oz.) can pineapple
chunks
1/3 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 small green pepper, chopped
Mix sugar and cornstarch in 2-cup glass measure. Add
juice from pineapple, vinegar and soy sauce. Microwave on Full
Power until boiling and thickened, 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. Pour
over meatballs. Stir in pineapple chunks and green pepper.
Microwave, covered, on Full Power 2 to 3 minutes to heat
through. Serve over rice.
