POT ROAST

3 1/2 to 4 lb. pot roast
1 can condensed cream of
mushroom soup
1 envelope (1.37 grams) dry
onion soup mix
5 medium carrots, peeled
5 medium potatoes, peeled

Arrange roast in microwave simmer pot (or oven roasting
bag) so that it lies flat. Top with soups, carrots and pota-
toes. Cover. Microwave 10 minutes on High, then 1 1/2 hours
at Level 3. Carefully turn roast over so that vegetables now
lie under roast. Microwave 30 to 60 minutes at Level 3 or
until meat is tender. If using roasting bag, do not use metal
twist tie and place a 1-inch slit in top of bag before cooking.
