(Makes About 100)
2 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1/2 c. apple jelly
1/2 c. catsup
Mix ground beef and soup mix thoroughly. Shape into
1-inch balls and place in 2 long glass baking dishes. Cover
with waxed paper and microwave each dish, one at a time, on
Full Power 4 to 6 minutes. Drain or place on serving dish.
Place jelly in small bowl and microwave (High) 30 to 40 seconds
to melt. Add catsup and microwave (High) 30 to 40 seconds to
heat through. Sauce can be served separately as a dip for
meatballs, or poured over meatballs before serving.
