MICROWAVE BROWNIES 2 eggs 1 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. (1/4 lb.) butter 3/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour 1/2 c. cocoa 1 c. chopped nuts (optional) In small bowl beat at medium speed the eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla for 1 minute or until light. Add melted butter and continue beating. Mix in flour and cocoa at low speed. Stir in nuts; spread evenly in greased 8-inch square glass dish. Microwave at High 6 to 7 minutes. Rotate dish 1/4 turn every 2 minutes. When done top looks dry and will spring back when lightly touched. Cut when cooled.
