MICROWAVE BEEF AND RICE CASSEROLE|
1 lb. ground beef
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can cut green
1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Crumble beef in 2 quart microwavable dish. Cover and
cook on High for 5 to 6 minutes. Stir once during cooking time
to break pieces. Drain fat. Stir in all remaining ingredi-
ents; cover and cook on High for 8 to 9 minutes or until
mixture boils. Stir mixture, cover and cook on Low for 10
minutes. Stir mixture, cover and finish cooking on Roast for 5
minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Let
stand 5 minutes before serving.
