GREEN BEAN ALMONDINE 2 lb. fresh beans or same amount of canned 1/2 c. water 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine 1/3 c. slivered, blanched almonds 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper If using fresh beans, wash and cut off ends. Place beans in deep 2 quart casserole dish along with water. Heat, covered, on High for 10 to 12 minutes or until crispy tender. Drain remaining water. Add other ingredients and stir. Heat, uncovered, on High for 5 minutes or until beans are tender.
