MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN|
1 stick margarine
1/2 c. corn syrup
1/2 tsp. soda
3 qt. popped corn
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
Mix the ingredients together. Put in microwave on High
for 3 to 4 minutes until it boils, stirring after each minute.
Microwave on High for 2 minutes more. Remove from microwave
and stir in 1/2 teaspoon soda. Pour over 3-quarts popped corn
(1/2 cup unpopped) in a paper bag. Shake well. Put in micro-
wave on High for 1 1/2 minutes. Shake well. Microwave on High
for 1 1/2 minutes more. Shake well. Pour onto 2 cookie sheets
and break apart.
