1 (9-inch) baked pastry shell
1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
2 c. half and half
1 Tbsp. chopped chives
2 tsp. chopped onion
dash of hot pepper sauce
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. finely chopped ham

Fill cooled shell with cheese; set aside. Mix together
cream, chives, onion, salt and hot pepper sauce in a 4-cup
measure or 1 quart casserole. Microwave on High for 2 to 2 1/2
minutes or until steaming. Stir a small amount of hot cream
into eggs, then stir egg mixture into the remaining hot cream.
Pour gently into shell. Sprinkle with ham. Microwave on High
for 12 to 14 minutes. Turn dish half turn halfway through
cooking. Allow to stand 10 minutes before cutting.
