STUFFED GREEN PEPPERS

4 large green peppers
1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. cooked rice
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce

Wash peppers; cut lengthwise, remove seeds and membrane.
Crumble beef into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cook, uncovered, on
High 5 minutes, stirring once. Stir in salt, pepper, rice and
half tomato sauce. Fill green peppers with mixture. Place in
glass baking dish. Top each with remaining tomato sauce. Cook
on High, covered, 8 to 10 minutes or until tender.
