FRESH BROCCOLI 1/4 c. water 1 1/2 lb. fresh broccoli (as purchased; after trimming - 12 oz.) Wash broccoli. Cut into flowerets, leaving 2-inches of stalks. Place in a flat baking dish, 1 quart casserole, with stems toward outside of dish. Add water. Cover with lid or vented plastic wrap. Microwave at full power for 9 to 10 minutes or until tender, rearranging once. Let stand, covered, 2 minutes; drain. Serves 4.
