BAKED CUSTARD

3 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1 2/3 c. milk
4 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
nutmeg

Beat eggs lightly in 1 1/2 quart casserole. Mix in
sugar, salt and vanilla, stirring well. Measure milk into 1
quart measure. Microwave 3 to 4 minutes on High or until about
to boil. Stir gradually into egg mixture; sprinkle with
nutmeg. Place casserole in 8 x 8-inch baking dish. Pour 1 cup
very hot water into baking dish. Microwave 9 minutes on 6 or
until custard is almost set. Custard will become firm as it
cools. Serve chilled. Makes 6 servings.
For ovens without solid state heat control, microwave 10
to 30 seconds on "5".
