MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 2 poppers of popcorn 1 large grocery sack 2 sticks oleo 2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. white syrup 1 tsp. cream of tartar Mix oleo, sugar, syrup and cream of tartar. Bring to boil. Boil 2 1/2 minutes, turn off. Add 1 teaspoon soda. Stir until foams. Put popcorn in sack and pour caramel over corn. Fold sack down. Put on 1 1/2 minutes on High. Stir popcorn in sack, then put back in microwave for another 1 1/2 minutes. Put on wax paper to cool.
