MICROWAVE BANANA PUDDING

3 bananas
8 oz. bag vanilla wafers
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 egg yolks
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. scalded milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour, sugar and salt in large microwave-proof bowl.
Slowly add scalded milk. Cook in microwave 3 to 5 minutes or
until thickened. Stir frequently. Add beaten egg yolks. Cook
1 more minute, then let cool. Make layers, alternating wafers,
bananas and pudding mixture. Top with meringue made from egg
whites.
