MICROWAVE APPLE PIE 7 medium apples 3/4 c. sugar 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour 1/8 tsp. salt 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg 1 pie crust 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice 2 Tbsp. butter Pare and slice apples. Mix in bowl with sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Set aside. Roll out 1/2 pie crust and fit into 9-inch pie dish. Put apples in crust. Sprinkle lemon juice over top. Dot with butter. Add top crust. Cook on High for 10 minutes or until apples are tender. While apples are cooking, preheat oven to 450 degrees. When apples are tender, brown pie in oven approximately 12 to 14 minutes.
