MICROWAVE RICE (LONG GRAIN)|
2 c. water
1 Tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. long grain rice
Combine water, butter and salt in 2 quart casserole.
Cover with glass lid. Microwave 4 to 8 minutes on High or
until boiling. Stir in rice. Recover. Microwave 15 to 17
minutes on Medium or until rice is tender. Let stand, covered,
5 minutes before serving. For 2 cups, double recipe. Cook 21
minutes and use larger casserole dish.
