MICROWAVE MEATBALLS

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 egg
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper

Use High power. Cook large meatballs 7 to 9 minutes,
small meatballs 8 to 10 minutes. Moisten palms of hands to
shape large meatballs. Use a heaping tablespoon to form small
ones easily. Arrange large meatballs in a ring in a 10-inch
dish or pie plate. Place small meatballs in a 8 x 8-inch or 12
x 7-inch dish. Microwave at High 4 to 5 minutes. Rotate large
meatballs or rearrange small ones, bringing balls from the
outside of dish to the center.
