CHERRY STREUSEL

1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie
filling
1/2 pkg. (18.5 oz.) yellow
cake mix
1/4 c. chopped nuts
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. butter or oleo

Spread pie filling in ungreased round glass baking dish,
8 1/4 x 1 1/2-inches. Sprinkle cake mix (dry) over filling.
Mix nuts, brown sugar and cinnamon in small bowl; sprinkle
over cake mix. Microwave butter until melted, about 45 sec-
onds. Drizzle over mixture in dish. Microwave, uncovered, 7
minutes; turn dish one quarter turn. Microwave until mixture
is bubbly and topping is almost firm, 7 to 8 minutes. Serve
warm or cool and, if desired, with sweetened whipped cream.
Serves 5 or 6.
