3 to 4 qt. corn, popped
1 1/2 c. peanuts (optional)
1 c. brown sugar (packed)
1/2 c. oleo
1/4 c. Karo syrup (light)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda

Put popcorn and peanuts in a brown grocery sack.
Combine brown sugar, oleo, syrup and salt in a 2 quart casse-
role. Cook on High 3 to 4 minutes until boiling, stirring
after each minute. Boil for 2 minutes, not stirring. Take out
and stir in 1/2 teaspoon soda. Pour over corn and shake bag.
Put in oven and cook on High for 1 1/2 minutes. Take out and
shake bag. Repeat again. Pour in greased pan to cool.
