CHICKEN LIVER PATE APPETIZER 1 lb. halved chicken livers 1/4 c. dry sherry or chicken broth pinch of ground allspice 1 c. butter or margarine 1/2 c. chopped green onion 1 clove garlic, chopped 1/4 tsp. ground thyme 1/4 tsp. each salt and pepper Combine all ingredients in a 1 1/2 quart glass casse- role. Cover and microwave on Low for 19 to 24 minutes, or until liver is done to taste, stirring twice. Pour mixture in blender and blend until smooth. Chill until firm.
