1 lb. halved chicken livers
1/4 c. dry sherry or chicken
pinch of ground allspice
1 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. chopped green onion
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/4 tsp. ground thyme
1/4 tsp. each salt and pepper

Combine all ingredients in a 1 1/2 quart glass casse-
role. Cover and microwave on Low for 19 to 24 minutes, or
until liver is done to taste, stirring twice. Pour mixture in
blender and blend until smooth. Chill until firm. Serve with
homemade crackers or store bought.
