1/2 lb. uncooked elbows
6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
3/4 tsp. salt
2 1/4 c. milk
2 c. hot water
12 oz. American Cheese, cut
into cubes (3 c.)
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/3 c. flour

Combine macaroni, water, butter, onion, salt and pepper
in a 2 quart casserole. Microwave on Cook for 6 minutes, then
on Low for 8 minutes, stirring twice. Stir in remaining
ingredients. Cover and microwave on Cook for 15 to 19 minutes
until macaroni is tender and sauce is thick and bubbly. Stir
every 3 minutes.
